Meet The Team

Dr. Gregory M. Atack

DMD, PC, FAGD

Dr. Gregory Atack grew up all over the United States. His father served in the medical division of the Army. His father would be transferred about every three years. This meant uprooting the family and starting a new adventure in another location. Dr. Atack will consider himself mostly from Texas, Utah, and Maryland. He served a two year mission for his church in northern Mexico and continues to maintain his fluent Spanish. He graduated from Brigham Young university where he played lacrosse for two years.  He then switched over to Cheerleading. Dr. Atack was BYU's mascot Cosmo for one year. The cheerleading paid off, that is where he met a beautiful lady, Tracy whom he married.

Dr. Atack graduated from Oregon Health Science University (OHSU) with honors.  He received awards for top student in both Operative Dentistry and Peridontology. He received his Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2005.  Dr. Atack has been participating in humanitarian trips through Wide Open Humanitarian for the past five years.  They travel to very remote areas where dentists have never been.

His professional associations include:

  • American Dental Association
  • Oregon Dental Association
  • Washington County Dental Society
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • Oregon Health Sciences University Dental Alumni Board
  • Wide Open Humanitarian

Dr. Atack and his wife Tracy have been married close to 25 years.  They are the parents of four children.  Their oldest son, Keegan is attending the University of Utah studying business.  Their oldest daughter, McKayla has been studying and playing lacrosse for Utah State.  Their third child, Cody, has been accepted to Brigham Young University where he will start this fall.  The youngest Brooklyn is helping to hold down the fort for the next two years until she graduates from Westview.  The Atacks have enjoyed being very active in the lacrosse community playing and coaching for the last ten years.  They have also worked with the Westview theater/music productions for the past five years.  They enjoy boating, motorcycling, ski/snowboarding, and most other adventures outdoors.  Each member of Dr. Atack's family has had an opportunity to participate in the humanitarian trips.  He hopes that their experiences helped to change their lives as well as the individuals they served.  They have been very involved with their church working with the youth programs for the past 20 years.  Dr. Atack has served as a scoutmaster and other Boy Scout positions for the past 25 years.  He hopes to try to better the next generation through teaching skills and good citizenship.

Dr. Atack joined his father-in-law, Dr. Charles Padbury in 1996 and purchased the practice in 1998.  The dental practice is located where HWY 217 meets HWY 26.  It is a great location for people ranging from Hillsboro, Beaverton, Portland, Tigard, and Lake Oswego.
